Immigration & Population: Union Minister holds meeting in Magway Township

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing held a meeting with officials and staff from the Magway Region Immigration and Population departments in Magway Township.

In this meeting, the Union Minister highlighted the Pankhin Project for the upcoming elections, efforts for accurate voter list, verification and implementation of the e-ID system and preparations for the nationwide census. He also stressed the importance of cooperation for those tasks, security measures and unity and mutual respect among employees.

Also, at the No. 1 Basic Education High School, the Union Minister inspected processes of issuance of national registration cards and collection of personal and biometric data for the ID system. There, after hearing report, the Union Minister coordinated the processes and held talks with locals.
