Indonesian President Joko Widodo calls the next elected president of Indonesia to resume the ongoing downstream industry in the country. When opening of a meeting of the young entrepreneurs’ association, the president said that even with the pressure from the E.U ,W.T.O , and I.M.F, Indonesia needs not to back down and don't stop the downstream industry.

Widodo also said that Indonesia should not refrain from halting the downstream industry, as it will bring the country a great loss. During the meeting, president jokowi called for the continuation of the raw material export ban despite losing against the EU at the WTO panel. IMF has previously asked Indonesia to consider its decision to annul the nickel report ban policy, and refrain from expanding the ban to other commodities.
