Information Sector: Dy Minister Opens Photo Shooting And Editing Training

The opening ceremony of the photo shooting and editing training course 2/2022 was held at the Community Centre of the Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD) in Bahan Township of Yangon Region.

In his remarks at the event, Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint said that the IPRD organizes the “Beautiful Myanmar” colour photo competition marking the Independence Day yearly to describe the development, peace and stability, culture and ethnic unity. It supports the emergence of young photographers and motivates them to preserve tradition and culture, ethnic unity, State development, tranquility and independence via photos. He also expressed the purposes of the training course.

Also, Yangon Region Advocate-General U Htay Aung gave a speech and handed over 1 million Kyats cash assistance provided by the regional government.

The Deputy Minister also visited the Sarpay Beikman and stressed the need to publish good books and journals and edit without any grammar, spelling and punctuation errors in his meeting with the editorial team. He also inspected the Sarpay Beikman Library and gave necessary instructions.
