Inspection of Locomotive Factory: DPM MoTC Union Minister inspected locomotive factory

Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo along with Deputy Minister and officials inspected Diesel Locomotive Factory of Myanma Railways in Sagaing Region and Carriage and Wagon Workshops (Myitnge) in Amarapura Township of Mandalay Region on 25th November.

At the factory hall, the responsible officials clarified the history of the factory, repairing process of locomotive, yearly target and status of capability to the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister General Mya Tun Oo.

In responding to the clarification, the Union Minister gave necessary instruction for more improvement of skill and sustainable development of the capability and inspected the training techniques of the industrial training school, books and documents regarding with the training, teaching aid materials and training hall.

Next, the Deputy Minister and party inspected the repairing processes of the parts of locomotives and manufacturing spare parts for the locomotive.

Then, the Deputy Prime Minister also inspected 25-bed hospital of Myanma Railways in Ywahtaung and Ywahtaung station yard and fulfilled requirements. Then, the older persons at the Home for the Aged of Myanma Railways in Ywahtaung, comforted the elders and provided cash donation.

In the afternoon, the Deputy Prime minister Union Minister and party inspected Carriage and Wagon Workshops (Myitnge) in Amarapura and the responsible officials clarified the completed implementations on the guidance of the head of State, history of the workshop, work undertakings, heavy repairing of Carriage and Wagons and construction of new wagons.

Upon the clarification, Union Minister gave necessary instruction and inspected the work processes. Afterward, the Deputy Prime Minister and party visited 50 bed hospital of Myanma Railways in Myitnge, comforted the patients of staff families and provided foodstuffs.
