Inspection tour: Shan State CM inspected regional development works

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye, Commander of Triangle Region Command Ma-J Gen. Ni Lin Aung, state ministers, state advocate general, state level departmental officials held a meeting with the departmental personnel, townselders and local residents at the indoor stadium of Mai Sat Township, Shan State (East) in the evening on 20th February.

At the meeting, chairman of Mai Sat District Administration Council (District General Administrator) U Aung Hein Kyaw clarified the implementation of MSMEs and local date and the townselders and local residents submitted requirements in the region.

In responding to the clarification and submissions, the chief minister noted and pledged to fulfill the needs with his best capacity.

Next, the Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye provided cash assistance to the personnel serving in the Mai Sat District and Townships and the chairman of Mai Sat District Administration Council accepted.

Then, the chief minister, commander, state minister for social affairs and townselders opened the RC double spectator stand in Aung Zayya multipurpose sports ground of Mai Sat District and the chief minister provided sports wares.

Afterward, the chief minister and officials met with the followers of Lahu traditional Sha Kya religion, the chief minister and guests conducted hand washing ritual, extended greeting to the Sha Kya religion followers and the chief minister, commander and state ministers presented memorable gifts to the senior To Bo.

In the morning on February 21, the chief minister and officials paid homage to the Mahamuni Buddha Image in Mai Sat Towship and presiding Sayadaw of Myo-U  monastery and offered the offertories and cash donation.

Next, the chief minister and party look round the Mai Sat Township Myoma Market, Mai Sat People’s Hospital, provided foodstuff the health personal and locals receiving medical treatment at the hospital.

Then, the chief minister and party paid homage to the member of Sangha at Mai Phone Community Hall and offered offertories to the members of Sangha and provided cash assistance for the renovation works of community hall. 

Afterward, the chief minister and officials observed orange farm and sunflower plantation owned by Lanu national U Kya Hal, it’s reported.
