Interim Census: Data Being Taken in Mong Sat District, Shan State (East)

The interim census continued to conduct in Pon Par Kyin of Mong Sat District, Shan State (East).

On Monday, it was conducted in Nar Kaung Muu village, Mong Han village-tract by making field trip.

The interim census has more than 100 questions about population, households, migrant workers, demographics, disabled, elder, personal hygiene, sewerage and health issues.

In taking data, the Computer-assisted Personal Interviewing- (CAPI) system is applied by using mobile tablet.

The State Hluttaw representative, officials of Pon Par Kyin Immigration and Population Head of Staff Office and members of Census Taking Committee took part in the interim census taking process.

The data has been collected in Pon Par Kyin starting January 15th and it will be conducted until the 28th.
