Investment Affairs: Union Minister Inspects Investment Activities

Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Vice-Chairman of Myanmar Investment Commission U Aung Naing Oo met with Chairman and members of Bago Region Administration Council and Bago Region Investment Committee on Monday.

In the meeting at the Bago Region Administration Council’s Office, the Union Minister stressed measures for smooth investment, works to be in line with Myanmar Investment Law, Rules and procedures, mechanism for monitoring the permitted investments and plans for smooth local products manufacturing and services as well as for investment-friendly areas.

Also, Chairman of Bago Region Administration Council and Bago Region Investment Committee U Myo Swe Win discussed plans pertaining to investment activities in the region and investment promotion.

The Union Minister also visited the District-level Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, viewed work processes, met with staff and fulfilled requirements.

On the samed day, the Union Minister visited work places of Karisma Apparel (Myanmar)Co., Ltd. and Bellmart (Myanmar) Co., Ltd. in Bago and also implementation of industrial garden by i-Land Park Myanmar Limited. There, he heard reports from concerned officials and gave necessary instructions.
