Israeli PM Netanyahu meets US Secretary of State Blinken in Jerusalem

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Jerusalem on Wednesday.

Blinken, on his seventh trip to the Middle East, reiterated US opposition to an Israeli assault on the crowded Gaza city of Rafah. Blinken has also been pushing for more aid to enter Gaza and acknowledged that aid deliveries had increased since Israel agreed last month to reopen additional routes into the besieged territory.
