Italian Prime Minister meets her Lebanese counterpart in Beirut

Lebanese Prime Minister Mikati met with his Italian counterpart Meloni at the Government Palace in Beirut on Wednesday.

At the meeting, the two officials discussed bilateral relations and issues of common interest in the Middle East region. Mikati also thanked his Italian counterpart for her country's continued support for the Lebanese army, adding that Italy's permanent contribution to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon affirms its commitment to Lebanon's safety, stability, and the preservation of its territorial integrity.
