Jakarta & Australia to develop sustainable transportation

The Jakarta Provincial government and the Australian embassy are collaborating through the Indonesia-Australia partnership for infrastructure (KIAT) to build a sustainable transport system for Jakarta.

In an effort to make Jakarta a competitive global city especially in transportation sector, the Jakarta provincial government is currently designing the regional long-term development plan for 2024-2045 period. Head of the regional cooperation bureau of Jakarta province said on Tuesday that the collaboration is aimed at providing safe and affordable integrated transportation in the city.

This initiative will be consistently maintained to address the increasingly complex challenges in the city and improve people’s quality of life.
