Jamaica bobsled team trains in UK for Winter Games

After 24 years away, a four-man Jamaican men's bobsled team is set to compete at the Winter Olympics. The quartets have qualified to take part in the Beijing Games for the Caribbean nation next month.

 That team, which defied the odds to take part in the 1988 Calgary Games, became part of Winter Olympics history. Ashley Watson, brakeman for the 2022 team, could not hide his excitement about competing for his country in Beijing next month. Teammate Shanwayne Stephens echoed his joy, adding that competing was not about the fame or the money.
