Workers at a vineyard in west Japan have started producing this year's vintage of wines made from premium grapes.

The Funao Winery is in Kurashiki City in Okayama Prefecture. Okayama produces about 90 percent of the grape variety in Japan.

The winery said this year's crop has enjoyed favorable weather conditions. The winery plans to use a total of 10 tons of the grapes and begin shipping the wines from around March.
