Jim Carrey attends London premiere of 'Sonic the Hedgehog' and hints at a sequel

Jim Carrey attended the UK premiere of his latest film "Sonic the Hegehog" in London on Thursday. Carrey plays villain Dr. Ivo Robotnick in his first feature film since "Dark Times" which was released in 2016. Actor Ben Schwartz, who voices the lead character, was also in attendance along with director Jeff Fowler and producer Neal H Moritz.  "Sonic the Hedgehog" is a live-action adventure comedy based on the internationally popular Sega videogame that centers around a speedy blue hedgehog.

The movie chronicles Sonic's life on Earth as he comes into difficulty with the law and befriends small town cop played by James Marsden. "Sonic the Hedgehog" is set for release globally in February.
