Kayah State Situation Update: Hundreds Of Locals Return Home And Assistance Provided

Residents in Loikaw and its nearby areas in Kayah State fled homes due to clashes between security forces and PDF terrorists in 2022 January.

The security forces have taken control of the areas since the 22nd of January, stability has been restored and conditions returned to normal. On the 27th of January, 439 locals returned home. The concerned officials welcomed them and provided necessary assistance.
