Labour Dispute Resolution: Union Minister for Labour addresses seminar

Ministry of Labor held a Labor Dispute Resolution Seminar on Friday at the Town Hall of Chanayethazan Township in Mandalay Region.

In his address, Union Minister Dr. Pwint San said the seminar was to identify good methods and results to resolve the difficulties encountered in resolving disputes between employers and employees in accordance with the law.

In order to improve working relations, employers and employees should have initial discussions and negotiations within the workplace. The role of Tripartite is important.

Conciliation body and members of the arbitration council need to impartially and fairly mediate to achieve a win-win situation between the disputing parties, the Union Minister added.

This Seminar continued with group-discussion on strong and weak points experienced in examining and deciding labor disputes, implementation in accordance with laws and difficulties and strong and weak points.
