Hector Walde, the head of the archaeologists' team of the Municipality of Lima, said they have found 50 sets of bones that belong to members of the exploration missions of the Spanish Conquistadors.

According to deformation in their skulls, most of them died from syphilis in the hospital. Nonetheless, the experts are also searching for three Inca mummies of the last three rulers of the Inca Empire, the Incas Pachacutec, Huayna Capac and Tupac Yupanqui.

Their remains were brought from Cuzco in the XVI century to be presented to Peruvian Viceroy Andrés Hurtado de Mendoza.
