Meeting with entrepreneurs: MoC Union Minister met with ethnic entrepreneurs

The Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo met with the members of Kachin State Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Ethnic Entrepreneurs Association at the Malikha Hall of the state government in Myitkyina in the afternoon on January 19.

At the meeting, the Union Minister discussed the matters on the development of commodities exchange centers for the trade promotion which is a major requirement for the economic development in Kachin State, export boosting in border trade sector and the plans to facilitate from the trade sector for the strength of business institutions and the development of MSMEs in KachinState.

Next, the entrepreneurs from the Kachin State Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ethnic Entrepreneurs Association reported the matters on challenges facing in exporting commodities to China regarding with the border trade, promotion of border trade between the two countries, acceleration of tourism sector and the issues on the trade and the Union Minister clarified necessaries in responding to the reports and coordinated requirements, it’s learnt.
