Meeting for Myanmar and China: Implementation of bilateral cooperation between the two countries

A coordination meeting on the implementation of bilateral cooperation between Republic of the Union of Myanmar and People’s Republic of China was held at at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw on 15 May.

The meeting was led by U Than Swe, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and attended by senior officials from respective ministries of Myanmar.

At the meeting, they discussed matters related to acceleration of bilateral projects with the assistance of Chinese government, promotion of bilateral trade at the Myanmar-China border, trading smoothly at the cross-border gates, promotion of Yuan-Kyat direct payments in border trade, and increasing export of Myanmar’s agricultural products to China.
