Meeting with staff: MoI Union Minister meets the staff under the Ministry

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn held meeting with officers and staffs under the Ministry at the Community Centre in Myitkyina of Kachin State on 9th January.

At the Community Center, the Union Minister looked into opening of mini museum in Myitkyina, reading room for children, implementation of awareness programs in the library and computer training hall and gave necessary instructions.

At the meeting with the staff, the Union Minister urged them to perform the duties without politics, strive for the interests of the State and the people, to emerge the youths who are in good-will and love the country, to ensure that the people get the right news in a timely manner and to strive to become media professionals whom the state can rely on and to make creation for more young people to come and use the community center.

Later, Head of the State Information and Public Relations Department reported on the tasks implemented by the department in 2022 and conducting awareness programs in cooperation with writers and town elders. The Union Minister then provided cash assistance to the staffs. Similarly, the Union Minister together with officials visited printing house (Myitkyina) and presented cash for the staff.
