Merkel seen shaking for third time within weeks

German Chancellor Angela Merkel was seen shaking while she met Finland's visiting prime minister, Antti Rinne, on Wednesday. That was her third shaking bout within the last month.

A spokesman for the German government said the chancellor was fine and that discussions with Rinne were continuing as planned. On June 27, Merkel was seen shaking while she met with German President. That was her second such bout within two weeks but her spokesman said she was fine and later she headed off to Japan for a G20 summit. Merkel was first seen shaking when she met visiting Ukrainian President on June 18 but later said she felt better after drinking some water. The German chancellor, 64, has no history of serious health issues.
