Myanmar / China: Chief of General Staff receives Deputy Commander

Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy, Air) General Maung Maung Aye received a delegation led by Deputy Commander of Southern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Vice Admiral Liu Zizhu at Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.

At that meeting, they discussed issues related to strengthening friendship between the two countries and the two armies, peace and stability along the border areas and promotion of further cooperation in law enforcement. After the meeting, the Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy, Air) and the Deputy Commander of Southern Theater Command exchanged commemorative gifts.
