Myanmar-China Trading: Export/import licenses in Muse Border Trade Zone

The Trade Department under the Ministry of Commerce has been issuing the export/import licenses in the Muse Border Trade Zone – applications can be submitted to the Myanmar Trade Net 2.0portal and the border gates.

U Yan Naing Lwin, Director, Ministry of Commerce, said " There are 4 border gates in the Myanmar-China Border Trade Zone – the busiest one is the Muse105-mile Gate. We have been accepting the applications and issuing licenses for exports and imports at Muse border trade zone through Trade Net 2.0 portal and the border gates. From April to December 2022, more than 1,000 export licenses worth over 6,500 million USD and more than 17,000 import licenses worth over 317 million USD were granted by the Trade Department."

At the Muse 105-mile Gate, the Trade Department granted import licenses for the various items including vehicles, construction materials, electrical devices, motorcycle parts, consumers goods, fertilizers, sports equipment, apple, tangerine and Asian pearl.
