Myanmar / India: C-In-C Holds Talks With Air Chief Marshal

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited Ministry of Defence of India in New Delhi on Monday, according to Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.

The Senior General was welcomed with a Guard of Honour before the talks with Chairman of Chiefs of Staff Committee & Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa at Air Headquarters. In the talks, Chief of the Air Staff pledged to support capacity building of the Myanmar Tatmadaw.

The Senior General congratulated India for the successful launch of Chandrayaan- 2 to the moon, saying the mission has proved India’s advanced space technology and the high capacity of its air force. He also expressed thanks for the support of the India army in capacity building of the Myanmar Tatmadaw.
