Newly-accredited Ambassador: PM accepts credentials of Bangladeshi Ambassador

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepted the credentials of the newly-accredited Ambassador of Bangladesh to Myanmar Dr. Md. Monwar Hossain at the Credentials Hall of the SAC Office in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

On the occasion, they frankly discussed diplomatic relations of the two countries, cooperation and friendly relations, promoting bilateral trade, bilateral cooperation for preventing illegal trades at the border and drug trafficking, repatriation of displaced people, collaboration in defense sector for regional peace and stability, cooperation for damages and losses hit by cyclone Mocha and progress in the current political situations of Myanmar.

After the meeting, the Prime Minister and the Bangladeshi Ambassador to Myanmar took documentary photos. Also present were Joint Secretary of the SAC Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and Director General of Protocol Department U Wunna Han.
