Offering provisions: Rakhine State CM attended the ceremony

The Alms-food offering ceremony to all members of Sangha residing in Sittwe Township of Rakhine State was held at Atulamarazein Pyilonechantha Buddha Image in the morning on 29th October, the full moon day of Thadingyut and the Rekhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin and wife, State ministers and departmental officials attended and offered the alms-food.
First, the Chief Minister and wife together with the State government ministers paid homage to the Atulamarazein Pyilonechantha Buddha Image and offered flowers and oil lamps.
Next, the Chief Minister, wife and State ministers, departmental officials, civil society organizations and well-wishers offered rice and provisions, cold drink bottles and offertories to the members of Sangha and Nuns.
At the ceremony, over 500 members of Sangha and over 100 nuns accepted the donations at the Wingabar ground of the Atulamarazein Pyilonechantha Buddha Image.
