Nonstop heavy rainfall continued to disrupt lives and cause huge damages across China, which has affected at least 11 million people in its southern and western regions.
In southwest China, many parts of its County saw precipitation up to 180 mm in an hour on Wednesday. Since June, continuous downpours have lashed large parts of southeastern China and the water level of many rivers in the affected areas exceeded the dangerous mark. China's Ministry of Water Resources has called for all-out efforts to prevent floods and has dispatched six teams to the affected areas to facilitate flood prevention and control.
