Regional Development: Chief Minister inspects works in Bago Region

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win on Tuesday inspected the regional education, health and rural development works.

First, in Pyay Township, the Chief Minister attended the pre-service elementary teacher training welcoming ceremony, gave remarks and provided 10 million Kyats for trainees before holding talks with them.

Also, he inspected installation of 4 more engines at the 9.8 MW natural gas power plant in Shwetaung Township and gave necessary instructions.

The Chief Minister also inspected the repair of the Shwetaung-ShweNatTaung Road and called for quality construction and timely completion. Also, he inspected construction of the Kyoekone-Mahatikekone rural product lane and a bridge.

There, he also held talks with locals and coordinated with concerned officials to fulfill agriculture-related requirements in the area.

The Chief Minister continued his inspection trip to an irrigation project site, solar-powered water distribution in Kyoekone Village and Gandamar Industrial Zone in Pyay Township.

Also, he visited the Pyay Township School of Nursing and Midwifery, held talks with trainees and provided over 3 million Kyats for the trainees before inspecting the School.

The Chief Minister also visited the COVID-19 vaccination site at the Wingabar Tawya Monastery and provided cash assistance for health staff.
