Regional Development: SAC Member Opens New Healthcare Facility

For healthcare sector development, extended buildings are added to hospitals in regions and states.
In Monywa Township of Sagaing Region, the 500-bed People’s Hospital has now got a 5-storey extended building. Member of the State Administration Council [SAC] Union Minister for Defence General MyaTunOo, Chief Minister U MyatKyaw and many other officials attended building opening ceremony and ceremonially opened this new healthcare facility on Wednesday.
This 5-storey healthcare facility constructed by the Ministry of Construction was completed in the fiscal year of 2021/2022 at the cost of over 9 billion Kyats. Healthcare training courses will be conducted in the building, it’s reported.
After the opening ceremony, the Union Minister and officials toured the Hospital, held talks with medical experts and staff and provided cash assistance and foodstuffs for them. The Union Minister also visited the Sagaing Region Agricultural and Livestock Product Enhancement Exhibition and Seed and Input grant ceremony. Also, he met with concerned officials and provided sunflower seed, pesticide and fertilizers.
On the same day, the Union Minister visited the Tatmadaw Hospital and Tatmadawmen, members of the Police Force and their family members receiving treatment there to fulfill requirements and provide nutritious foods.
