Relief Flight: 54 Myanmar Citizens Brought Back From India

54 Myanmar nationals who were stranded in India have been brought back by a relief flight of Air India on Thursday evening. On their arrival at the Yangon International Airport, the officials from the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population, the Ministry of Health and Sports, and concerned departments provided assistance for health inspections and arrangements for 21-day quarantine.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs cooperated with the relevant ministries and Myanmar embassies from the respective countries to bring back Myanmar citizens who are stranded in foreign countries in line with the instructions of the National-Level Central Committee on COVID-19.
