River Water Inflow: Wards And Villages In Low-Lying Areas In Padaung Inundated

Houses in low lying villages and wards along the bank of Ayeyawady river in Padaung Township, Pyay District of Bago Region are inundated due to surging the river water. Kya Khet, Wun Lo, Sitha  and Phaung Kan wards in Padaung Township that are located in low lying areas are flooded.

The inflow of Ayeyawady River to Padaung Township occurs annually and this year, more floods can happen, the locals said.
