Rocket carrying OneWeb satellites takes off

A Soyuz rocket carrying 36 OneWeb satellites launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Monday. The satellites will be part of the UK-based network's space constellation providing global internet access. It was the third time this year that OneWeb satellites were launched into space from Baikonur. Another five missions took off from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Russia in 2021. OneWeb worked in partnership with Arianespace on the launches.
