Separate meetings: Meeting with Tatmadaw officers, other ranks and families

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing together with Tatmadaw senior officials and the Commander of North-West Command met officers, other ranks and families of local battalion in Lahe of the North-west Command and Homalin station on separate occasions.

At the meetings, the Senior General explained about Myanmar's political changes in successive eras, taking the state’s responsibilities by Tatmadaw according to the situation that occurred in the state after declaring the state of emergency, controlling and maintaining of the violence caused by the crises of  the COVID-19 pandemic and the instigation of those who want to make political profit in accordance with the law, endeavouring for development of the state and ensuring peace, tranquility and stability by adopting policies and objectives.

The Senior General added that efforts have been made in various ways despite the crisis for the state’s economic development and manufacturing of local products was encouraged. As the production of the products and MSMEs based on the agriculture and livestock which are the main economy of the state, have been encouraged, currently the state’s economy has progressed to a certain extent.

He called for striving to become skillful and capable regiments and units, to be proficient in three capabilities for safeguarding the country, serving for the interests of the region together with the locals and departments, balanced governance model for the unity and getting full rights and privileges for Tatmadawmen.

He also stressed the needs on keeping good morals, carrying out for agriculture and livestock breeding on manageable scale, maintenance for the long-term durability of their housings, endeavouring for improving their life, constant learning and encouraging for improving education of their offspring.

Later, the Senior General presented food stuff to officials from respective stations for Tatmadaw officers, other ranks and their families. After the meeting, the Senior General and party cordially greeted them and fulfilled the needs in regard with the reports of Tatmadaw officers, other ranks and families.
