Shanghai Citizen Art Exhibition Opens to Public

The 2022 Shanghai Culture Festival Citizen Art Exhibition opened at a warehouse at Yangpu Riverside on Thursday. Citizens express their feelings with their painting brushes, and use different artistic forms to depict Shanghai's urban customs, people's lives, and regional landscapes.

The exhibition will run until October 5th and it brings together 240 works, covering different types of paintings such as traditional Chinese paintings and oil paintings. The Shanghai Citizen Art Exhibition was founded in 2006. After 16 years of cultivation and development, it has become the most popular, comprehensive and authoritative art event in Shanghai.
