Shanghai Disneyland to Launch Avatar-themed Exhibition

An exhibition based on the 2009 block-buster "Avatar" will open at Shanghai Disney resort this Thursday. It is the first Avatar themed exhibition to be held in a Disney Park in the world.

The exhibition combines innovative storytelling and technology with a unique walk-through experience. Visitors can explore the fantastical bio-luminescent environments of the alien moon of Pandora, and interact with its inhabitants. Tourists can become the Avatar and reproduce the classic scenes of the film, such as riding beasts in the world of Pandora.

Many of the one-to-one reproductions of the film scenes from Avatar allow visitors to experience everything from sight, hearing, smell and other multiple senses. The exhibition will run through March 2023, and park visitors can "Explore Pandora" for free from 10am to 5pm every day.
