Social Welfare Issues: Social harmony & early childhood care training

As the number of people who understand the concepts of social harmony increases, people’s philosophy will rise and social conflict will end. It will be able to develop a peaceful society.

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thet Thet Khaing made the remark online at the opening ceremony of the social harmony and social integration training in Sittwe of Rakhine State.

The Union Minister also urged attendees to actively cooperate in every process of community development and peaceful coexistence among different groups of people.

The training attended by 30 persons is set to take place till the 30th of September. Also, the Union Minister attended the opening ceremony of the course on early childhood care and development for ages (6 months) to (3) years old.

In this ceremony at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw, the Union Minister said that the number of daycare centers for lap babies aged (6) months and above is still very low.

She pledged to continue to support the opening of daycare centers and pre-primary schools. Also, concerned officials explained the benefit of opening daycare center in offices and departments in which parents can take of their children even during work hours and mothers hardly quit their jobs. This training was attended by 30 persons.
