Social Welfare Services: Health treatment provided at SSB clinics in Nay Pyi Taw

Union Minister for Labour Dr Pwint Hsan together with Deputy Minister U Win Shane and officials, inspected the processes of providing health care services to the insured workers at the Social Welfare Care Well Clinics in Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

There are over 26,000 insured workers in Nay Pyi Taw and they were provided health care treatment at three township social welfare clinics, two Care Well Clinics and Lin Clinic. The Care Well Clinic in Dekkhinathiri Township was opened in March last year, and over 3,700 patients were provided health care services as of December.

Likewise, the Care Well Clinic in Zabuthiri Township provided over 6,300 patients as of December since its opened in May 2022. The Social Security Board is providing health care services to the insured workers by signing contracts with the private hospitals and clinics.

At present, there are 12 Fee for Service Payment Clinic, 25 Capitation Payment Clinic and 8 Maternity Service Clinics, and over 416 million kyats cash assistance for medicine expenses have been disbursed from March to December last year in Nay Pyi Taw.
