With the aim to improve Myanmar’s tennis sports standard, promote the health and fitness of the whole nation, promote the friendship of ethnic people from various regions and emerge the new generation athletes, the 2023 Myanmar Tennis Federation President’s Cup Tennis Tournament launched at the Theinphyu Tennis court in Yangon on Monday.
It was attended by Yangon Region Chief Minister, Ministers of Yangon Region Government, officials from Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and Myanmar Tennis Federation, and invited guests. More than 280 participants from various regions and states including Yangon, Mandalay, Monywa and Taungyi will participate in the tournament.
The winning teams and winners for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded trophy and cash prizes, and the tournament will be held for 7 days from 6th to 12th November.
