Super Typhoon Saola makes landfall in south China's Zhuhai

Super Typhoon Saola, the ninth of this year, made landfall on the southern coast of Guangdong Province at around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday. Zhuhai, a coastal tourist city issued a top-level emergency response for Saola at noon on Friday.

It ordered suspension of classes, work, production and business. Meanwhile, Zhuhai's neighboring Macao and Hong Kong special administrative regions were also affected, and hoisted their signal to No. 10, the highest level warning.
