Taking temporary monkhood: Kachin State CM offered offertories to the Sangha

Led by Kachin State Government, a ceremony of temporary entering into the order of Buddhist Monks and Nuns of the personnel serving duties in Kachin State was held at Myit Kyi Nar Township Abbot Training School on 8th April.

At the ceremony, Chief Minister U Khat Htein Nan and wife, Chief Justice of state high court, State Ministers and their wives and family members of personnel who enter into the order of Buddhist Monks and Nuns donated offertories and offered alms food to Myit Kyi Nar Township, WonTho Monastery presiding Sayadaw Baddanta Ketumala, members of sangha and newly ordained monks and nuns.

Then, the Sayadaws delivered a sermon and the State Minister for Social Affiars supplicated religious matters to the Sayadaws. 

And then, the State Minister for Social Affairs and wife and officials donated offertories to the members of Sangha and shared merits gained.
