Tazaungdaing Lighting Festival: Visitors throng hot air balloons square in Taunggyi

To portray the essence of the Myanmar’s traditional Tazaungdaing festival, Kathina robe offering ceremony, non-stale robe weaving ceremony, Mezali buds salad, Kyeemanoe Pwe, Top Mountain Thabin festival and hot air balloon festival play the main role.

On the 4th day night of Tazaundaung festival falls on 24th of November, visitors from near and far thronged the Awaiya hot air balloons square in Taunggyi Township of Shan State (South) to enjoy the beauty of the Seinnapan, Nyameegyi  hot air balloons, fireworks and others.

In addition, they enjoy performances by artists and local musicians with a modern orchestra. On 24th November, day time hot air balloon, two-legged balloons, and four-legged balloons were released into the sky and three Seinnapan balloons, three Nyameegyi hot air balloons, two 25 feet hot air balloon were released at night.
