U.S Actor Terrence Howard received the 2,674 star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday. Howard, currently on the television drama "Empire" celebrated the honor with his wife and two young children. Howard's star is placed next to his "Empire" co-star Taraji P. Directors Malcolm D. Lee and Dito Montiel were on hand to support Howard.
Actor, Terrence Howard said "I have to say thank you to my lovely wife Mira -- who I can't say is anything less than my one. Because without her, I would not be here. A few years ago, I was taken down by Hollywood and told I would never work again. But then a young woman by the name of Dana Walden had faith in me. And she allowed me to head her show...And because my name is on stone, written in stone in Hollywood, as long as there is a Hollywood Boulevard, Terrence Howard will still stand. And I want to say thank you. Thank you. Thank you for all of this."
The sixth and final season of "Empire" was premiering Tuesday on Fox in the U.S.
