Tourism Industry: Community-Based Tourism In Manaung Township

Member of the State Administration Council (SAC) Daw Aye Nu Sein together with union ministers U Ko Ko Hlaing and U Saw Tun Aung Myint attended the community-based tourism launching ceremony in Pyinkauk Village of Manaung Township in Rakhine State.

They ceremonially opened the ceremony and toured bungalows and rooms at the site, supported the traditional performance of the villagers and presented cash awards.

They also inspected construction of the 300 feet Kamachaung Bridge on the Manaung island ring road which is under construction with 500 million Kyats from the State budget for the 2020-2021 financial year and 500 million Kyats from the State budget from the 2021-2022 mini-budget period. It is estimated that the bridge will cost around 1,500 million Kyats.
