Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr Htay Aung attended Thai-Myanmar Business Matching Health and Beauty 2023 on Wednesday.
The Commercial Attache of Thai Embassy extended greetings. In his speech, the Union Minister said the year 2023 is significant year as the diplomatic relations between Myanmar and Thailand reached 75 years, and further promoting the cooperation could help support the development and prosperity of the two countries.
He stressed that development of health and beauty businesses is important for development of tourism industry which provides the development of MSME businesses. After formal opening of the ceremony, the Union Minister viewed the booths displayed there.
In the afternoon, the Union Minister met with officials from the foreign investment hotels, and discussed to cooperate with the local hotels and tourism businesses in development and promotion of tourism industry in Myanmar.
