Triple blasts kills at least 15 in Kabul

At least 15 people were confirmed dead after three back-to-back blasts rocked Afghanistan's capital Kabul in the morning rush hour on Thursday. The first blast targeted a mini-bus carrying employees of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum while it was passing the Police District 16 at 08:10 local time.

The second blast took place at an area close to the first one, in a span of a few minutes, causing no loss of life, according to reports. The third blast was a car bomb that struck Police District 9. The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the third attack.
