Union Government Meeting: SAC Chairman delivered an opening speech

The Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing delivered an opening speech at the Union Government Meeting (4/2024) held at the meeting hall of the SAC Chairman’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 22nd April.

The meeting was attended by the Union Ministers and officials and the Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council and the Regions and States Chief Ministers attended through Video Conferencing.

In his opening speech, the SAC Chairman expressed his delight for the people across country who celebrate traditional New Year happily and extended his new year wish for entire people of the country.

The Senior General stressed the need to address the two national objectives: prosperity of the country and the food security. To achieve the national objectives, the major requirement is to produce the products fully in the country and the implementation of producing edible oil crops fully.

The Prime Minister also instructed to carry out the preparations for the mitigation of natural disasters and for the students to study peacefully when the schools are reopened.  The Senior General also urged to implement for the development of sports sector.

Next, the Union Ministers attended the meeting clarified the related sector. Then, submitted the implementation of manufacturing cotton seed crushing machine and cotton fiber blending machine domestically and the undertakings to produce cotton seed oil and high-quality cotton threads were reported by the Union Minister Dr. Charlie Than, financial matters by the Union Minister U Win Shein and the status of sending workers to abroad by Union Minister U Myint Naung. 

Regarding with the reports of the Union Ministers, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General  supplemented requirements and delivered a speech of conclusion.
