The 2nd Union Parliament held the 10th day meeting of the 14th regular session on Tuesday in Nay Pyi Taw. Joint Bill Committee presented its findings and report on the basic education bill set back by the President with remarks and also on the bill amending the Farmland law which is a disagreement between the 2 parliaments.
Parliamentarians discussed the matter to ratify the Minimum Age Convention, 1973 (No. 138). The parliament sought approval of the matter after a union-level official made clarification.
Also, parliamentarians discussed the report by the Joint Committee to Scrutinize Second Bill for Amending the Constitution.
