Updates on Ongoing Situations: Military drill at China-Myanmar Border area

In the morning on November 25th, Major General Zaw Min Tun, the leader of the Information Team of the State Administration Council, updated information regarding with the regular military drill to be conducted by the southern military theater command of the People’s Republic of China as of 25th November.

The military drill will be carried out at the China-Myanmar border area. The PRC informed the purpose of the military drill for the peace and stability at the border area of the two countries and the security of the region.

The PRC also notified that the PRC is standing steadfastly on the stance of non-interfering policy of domestic affairs of Myanmar, and for the prevailing of peace and stability and rule of law at the border area, they will be constantly joining hand with Myanmar Tatmadaw. Myanmar also maintains a stance on the five principles of peaceful co-existence and will cooperate for the peace and stability of border area of both countries.

Moreover, the Navy war ships of PRC will pay goodwill visit to Myanmar in the near future. The relation between the two armed forces of China and Myanmar is strengthening and friendship is building up.
