Malaysia and Singapore have resumed cross-border travel via a vaccinated travel lane (VTL) across the Johor Causeway, a motorway bridge that links the neighbouring countries from Johor Bahru in Malaysia to Singapore. A total of 1,440 fully vaccinated passengers onboard 16 buses coming from each direction will be allowed to cross daily.

Both countries will also launch VTL flights between Changi Airport and Kuala Lumpur International Airport. VTL travelers must be citizens, permanent residents or long-term pass holders of the country they wish to enter. The travelers will be tested for coronavirus, but will not have to quarantine after arriving at their destination.
