Venezuela receives new batch of Sputnik V vaccines

A new shipment of 675,000 Russia's Sputnik V coronavirus vaccines arrived in Venezuela on Tuesday. Venezuela is one of the least vaccinated countries in South America.

The plane which arrived in Maiquetía, was one of three which have travelled to the country this month loaded with vaccines. Russia's Ambassador in Venezuela was there to receive the shipment. He said in total more than one million second doses of the Russian vaccine were shipped to Venezuela in September.
