Venezuela salsa dancers in world record attempt

More than 2,000 people from dance academies all over Venezuela shimmied to the rhythms of salsa music on Sunday in an attempt to beat the Guinness World Record for the largest Casino dance circle.

The participants, from 102 dance academies, danced at the Teo Capriles velodrome of the National Sports Institute of Caracas at the same time for 12 minutes, as more than 30 observers and two main judges evaluated their performance.

The results haven't been announced. Their goal was to beat the 2019 Record obtained by dancers from Tenerife, Spain.
